Automated Germicidal UV-C Systems

Our story

Gangi Germicidal Systems is part of the Gangi Group; a Melbourne based family owned and operated business, established over 40 years ago. This is our story.

Our heritage - Gangi Electrics

Way back in 1978 a hardworking fellow called Sebastiano Gangi started an electrical contracting company in South East Melbourne. Word got around that he and his staff were trustworthy, reliable and diligent. The business grew FAST, offering services including power, lighting, communication, audio-visual, security and automation.

When Sebastiano entered his well-earned retirement, he passed the operation of the business on to his sons and daughter, Daniel, Robert and Carla who continue to own and operate it today, living by the same diligent, reliable, customer-first ethos that Sebastiano had back in 1978.

Our beginnings -
Gangi Germicidal Systems

As industry leaders and specialists in electrical automation, pioneering a germicidal lighting system was an exciting addition to the Gangi Group.

Although UV-C light has been around for a long time, high quality fittings, application and automation of UV-C has not.

In early 2020, while researching this valuable light source the Gangi Group discovered high quality germicidal UV-C light fittings which struck a chord. After further investigation they realised the enormous need for this form of UV-C disinfection, but wanted to make the light source safer, more practical and more effective. The Gangi Group set to work designing a fully automated system to better control and monitor the UV-C light.

Fast forward to 2020

Gangi Germicidal Systems was born.

The Gangi Group has since used the considerable expertise and experience of Gangi Electrics to develop a state of the art germicidal UV-C system – the first of its kind in Australia!

After months of research, development and testing, the Automated Gangi Germicidal UV-C System was complete and ready for market. Proudly being:
