Extensive fail-safe measures
When designing the Gangi germicidal UV-C system, we put safety first. By integrating an enterprise grade security system (as opposed to standard lighting automation), numerous fail-safe measures are in place including:
- Advanced presence detection system
- Sensors on key entry points and doors
- Auto-shutdown if sensors are tripped
- Auto-locking of facility doors when germicidal UV-C system is on
- Auto-shutdown if the system is tampered with
- Connection to facility alarms
We tailor these fail-safes around your facility and how you use the space to make sure that our germicidal UV-C system is as safe as possible.
Monitoring & reporting
The system can be monitored by, viewing auto-created daily reports via email or by logging into our Gangi Germicidal Systems web portal. The daily reports will include information on each space in which the system is installed, including:
- Confirming that the system’s cycle was completed
- The reason why, if the cycle was not completed
- If any fail-safes were tripped, including where and at what time
This makes it easy to ensure your system is working and that all building occupants are completely safe.
